Journaling is unquie. “Are people still journaling?”

Since I remember people have been journaling about there everyday life, goal setting, gratitude, note entry, various quotations, etc. Journal means it’s a daily records of news and events of a personal nature “ A DIARY" (noun) and write in a journal or diary (verb). You will find that journaling does play a big part of peoples lives and what aspects in their lives they use it for.

However studies have shown in 2013 about 76% of adults were keeping a journal for various reasons but they did keep a 2 week consistent research that only 58% kept it up. For some journaling is a form of release in writing from various situations such as:

a) De — Stressing
b) Anixety
c) Depression
d) Letting out all your feelings and emotions on paper.
e) Mindfulness
f) Goal Setting
g) Gratitude
h) Manifestation
i) Art journaling
j) Health and Wellness

Its a great way to start journaling because you notice the things you have written down and make accountable as well as notice your habits and patterns when going through this process.

For example: Goal Setting and Achieving it

Weight Loss:-
Current Weight and the Weight you want to achieve
Time you want to get to your goal weight
Tell someone that what you are doing, so that you have support and accountable that you are actually doing it.
Keep a food journal.
Weekly meal plan
Meal Prep if you want to and if its easier as well. In doing that you don’t get side tracked.

Another Example: Everyday journal on your feelings, emotions, etc.

This is a good way to write down all your thoughts, feelings, emotions, food diary, any notes and the like. You can do this on a daily basis or weekly or however and whenever you want to write in there.

Since there are loads of ways to journal, here are some tips on what things you can do for yourself or teach others:

  1. Start writing on the current situation in your life.
  2. For 5 to 10 minutes of just write non stop without doing any editing or spell check etc.
  3. If you have any dialog that it may come from your childhood then try to dig deep on how you feel that its still this way.
  4. Daily gratitude or quotes that you want to incorporate. List can be as long as you want.
  5. Self portrait or art journaling can bee another way to express your feelings, emotions, etc.
  6. Keep a diary that makes you connects you to nature and the world. That means anything thats ground related etc.
  7. Any small, medium or large success that you want to keep a record of.
  8. Also applies to music as well.
  9. You can also write as third party.
  10. Develop your intuition. This can be done after you have meditated in the morning or evening or things you get a vibe from etc.

Overall journaling is another great form in checking in with your thoughts, feelings, emotions, gratitude, goal setting, any success and the like. To end this article it releases any negative energy and heals you.
